Typical Sunday Of Mine In Pictures

During the week I eat breakfast quick quick quick and get to the bus stop for 6.30am, So at the weekends its nice to eat slowly , take breaths between bites! Today I had Museli with Natural Yoghurt and Honey, Another favourite of mine is banannas and honey on Toast ( I LOVE honey :) )

During the week I have English Tea, Peppermint Tea and Green tea , as much as I love them , I enjoy a coffee treat at the weekend in my cafeteria.

On Sundays I read The Times , Well thats I lie , I read Style, The Times supplement, cover to cover. Ive never read The Times, I dont think :)

I usually meet friends over at Columbia road, or Brick Lane or Spital Fields. They're my favourite places to be on a sunday , they're just really wholesome.

Today I met Cheryl for BIG cakes...

We then walked them off for a bit, browsing the stalls. I meant to take lots of pictures for you all for a 'guide to'' but when you go as often as I do, you forget that kind of thing. But i'll tell you this, make sure you browse most the stalls before buying something as some of the stalls get repetitive and you could find exactly the same , but cheaper, further down the line. Also, Barter. If you want multiple items, get a deal. Something i've learnt from having family in Spain is, Dont be shy, I could've got a jumper knocked down from £20 to £12 today, but I didnt really want it to begin with, I probably could've got it knocked to £10 if I really wanted. Act cool , keep browsing whilst bartering and walk away a few steps if they dont budge, test the water. Some stall holders drop the prices so much more nearer the end of the day.

I loved this dress above, it was handmade <3 there are some really talented makers in Spitalfields,
so despite what i've said above about bartering be a bit more respectful of the handmade stuff, the mass produced, barter till your blue in the face ;)

There is a same ol' saqme ol' vibe sometimes to Spital fields, but it does with season. Today there was a stalls selling drinks in coconuts and pineapples , made litter more attractive than usual .

Todays special was this man playing his brass with fire trumping out!

Butterfly Cabinet

Recently a good friend and I visited The Natural History Museam. It is one of my most favourite places to be. It slays my boredom, feeds my curiosities, and satisfies my geeky side with its scientific drawings and taxi dermi, its my favourite form of art.

The building itself is absolutely amazing, animals all inset into architechture. It would take a whole day just to take in all the concrete animals crawling around the curves of the archways.

This Stags head is absolutely HUGE. I have always dreamt of having one to hang my necklaces on , but the size of this would mean i'd have to take my treasure trove to completely new levels.
My deer infactuation has really built up some knowledge that I may do a post on, although sometimes I wonder if I should keep this side knitted inside, for fear of too much geekery shining through.

Little Monkey, hugging the border.

All the animals are in different positions around the borders, typifying the species stances. These little birdies were almost lifelike with the different positions, looking as though they were chipping and chattering at one another.

I wont write about every butterfly picture, but I have cut down again and again how many I have uploaded here. To say I got trigger happy would be an understatement. They were so gorgeus and graceful, their huge wingspans enabling them to drift by with ease.

Buttefly nursery!

As close to an outfit post as you'll get from this day im afraid I wasnt feeling photogenic. Blue 50's style dress with watercolour birds. Alot of birds have been entering my life recently, but more on that in a different post.

This is my favourite shot of the day, this beautiful blue butterfly was my favourite, they knew they were beautiful too and just kept teasing us, sweeping by. When shut they are brown and covered in eerie eyes, so to see them pop out to such piercing blue was magical.

I recommend this exhibition to anyone, but then I am biased :) It is heated inside so take a bottle of water and be ready to strip the layers when inside, oh and take lots of memory space and charg:ed batteries for your camera

Ring A Ring A Roses...

Thank you for your comments on the last post, I will definately be giving that outfit a wiggle again soon!

I saw this little beaut (above) at my local charity shop on thursday night , while I was waiting for the bus home. My job doesnt enable me to do any shopping during the week due to the long hours so I had to get up early again on saturday to rest my mind of if it had sold! I just have fallen in love with not only the picture, which reminds me of nature books I would read when I was small, but the chipped frame. Something about it, so romantic.
