The Sun Has Got His Hat On...

I love receiving parcels, who doesn't? But waking up to the postmans knock on an otherwise dreary Saturday really cheered me up.
My Mummy Darling had posted me a dress she'd seen shopping that'd reminded her of me. I loved it, she was spot on!
so I set about what to wear it and it brought a meaning to my day.

The blue sun hat , white wicker bag and my patent shoes worked with it a treat, so I soon set about a relaxing, strolling day feeling loved and fanciful .

Hope your all having a fabulous weekend and that you are also loving yourselves xo

Elderflower Syrup

A rainy days are preparation days for Sunny days... Elderflower syrup can be used as a cordial or frozen , perfect to drop in a G+T on a hot garden day.

Preferably the flower heads need to be picked in the sun, although this rule is forgiven if , like me, you live in the North-East of the UK.
10-20 flower heads, with no brown flowers

Four lemons, one lime

Alot of sugar, Sugar!

500 grams to be precise

Grate and juice lemons

Zesting is hard work, you might need some help from your Kitties...

Pour the sugar into a large saucepan

( My new picnic basket from Tynemouth market, £2!)

Pick as many of the bitter greens off the teeny tiny flowers

Add lemons and water to the sugar, bring to boil

Once the flowers are added, boil for one minute more. Then cover and stand 'til the next day...

Im Not Dead, Even Though There Are Fossils In The Ground From When We Last Met....

Hi Guys and Dolls!!
Its been so long. Soooooo Long, since my last post. I just haven't had the time, or the inspiration.
But im back, and I hope you are all well.
Since my last post I have been working as a fashion designer for an alternative company called Phaze, you may have heard of it. Any ho I will get some pictures of the clothes I have been designing next week, thats a promise.
I have also been mucho busito with a few burlesque performances, such as Dixie's Doll house

It was wonderful to meet such performers as Slinky Sparkles, Bunny Warren and Kiki Kaboom!
I am well and truly immersed in the world of Burlesque nowadays. I used to feel Embarrassed of myself for it, People making me feel perverted for watching 'Ladies Strip' . It is far from stripping. Im most proud of being a part of a vintage art form aswell as the celebration of the female form.
I've also been busy practicing my pin up pose. The image below is by Christine Patterson

Also,We have a new little member to our family. Meet our new Baby Cat, Dolly!
Isnt she adorable?!
Thats a very quick catch up for now! Stay Tuned for more as I do not want to reate a long, boring image heavy post!
